Group Volunteer Opportunities
DenUM has a well developed service program that can accomodate both large and small groups with people of all ages and abilities.
If you are planning a service experience that will last more than one day and/or encompasses a variety of non-profit agencies, let DenUM's Urban Education department do the work for you!
Ongoing Volunteer Needs
-
Groups and individuals can volunteer at the Food Bank of the Rockies on behalf of DenUM. For each volunteer who works three hours, DenUM will earn credit for 20 pounds of food. Half-day or full-day opportunities are available.
-
Volunteers are needed to organize food drives for DenUM’s food pantry. DenUM relies on donated food to provide emergency food resources to families throughout the year. Schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and faith communities are all wonderful settings for community involvement. DenUM is specifically in need of the following items: tuna, peanut butter, canned vegetables/fruits, canned chili, canned soups, rice, beans, pasta, macaroni and cheese, cereal and Gatorade mix or drinks.
