Current Volunteer Needs
Food Sorting Teams
Small teams of people are needed to help pack donated food at COMPA Food Ministries on DenUM's behalf. Teams will be scheduled as available. DenUM distributes fruit and vegetables from COMPA weekly.

Ongoing Volunteer Needs
Groups and individuals can volunteer at the Food Bank of the Rockies on behalf of DenUM. For each volunteer who works three hours, DenUM will earn credit for 20 pounds of food. Half-day or full-day opportunities are available.
- Volunteers are needed to organize food drives for DenUM’s food pantry. DenUM relies on donated food to provide emergency food resources to families throughout the year. Schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and faith communities are all wonderful settings for community involvement. DenUM is specifically in need of the following items: tuna, peanut butter, canned vegetables/fruits, canned chili, canned soups, rice, beans, pasta, macaroni and cheese, cereal and Gatorade mix or drinks.

- Volunteer for Share Colorado
DenUM needs volunteers to sort and package food one Saturday a month for Share Colorado. Must be reliable and able to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Volunteer Driver
Pick up food from local grocery stores or warehouses and unload at DenUM one or two mornings per week (Tuesday and Thursday) or once a month (Saturday). Must be reliable with a clean driving record and able to life and carry boxes up to 45 pounds.
