Job Services
Job Services Mission Statement: Job Services provides tools empowering job seekers to move toward self sufficiency.
DenUM works with unemployed, underemployed, and hard-to-employ individuals to assist them in obtaining and maintaining employment. Individual counseling is available. We provide support services which help prepare individuals for employment and job retention.
Support Services include: use of office supplies, copier, telephones, and fax; voice mail; uniforms or appropriate work attire; transportation; sack lunch program; computers with internet and e-mail access; and referrals to other agencies.
In 2007, DenUM provided 8,128 job services, including assisting 1,470 U.S. citizens in obtaining government-issued identification.

A special thank you to...
- American Linen for supplying clients with uniforms free of charge, helping them to re-enter the workforce.
- Community Voicemail provides DenUM clients with free voicemail boxes that can be accessed from anywhere. This service has proved to be invaluable. How can you hear back from a potential employer if you don’t have a phone?
- Hope United Methodist Church regularly donates backpacks with basic personal-needs items to support those recently released from incarceration.
- The Jared Polis Foundation donated nine computers in 2005, enabling DenUM to upgrade its Job Services computer lab.
