In-Kind Donations
DenUM relied on your donations of food and clothing* to record 59,311 client contacts in 2006!
Donations may be dropped off between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, or between 9:00 a.m. and noon on Wednesday.
Volunteers are often available to help carry donations, but please call 303-350-5066 in advance if you have a large donation.
The best items for donation?
- Nonperishable foods, especially cereal, canned meats, and peanut butter
- Diapers in all sizes, especially sizes 4-6
- Baby layettes: a blanket, size 1 diapers, baby wipes, bottles, newborn clothing
- Men's and women's undergarments, interview-grade clothing, jeans and work boots
Sorry, DenUM DOES NOT accept appliances, furniture, car seats, decorative knickknacks, or toys.
*DenUM closed the clothing bank in June 2007 to prioritize fighting hunger. DenUM still accepts clothing donations to raise funds for the agency.
